Women Equality in the Major World Religions
This website is a PowerPoint slideshow regarding the equality of women in some of the major religious traditions of the world, with a large focus on Sikhism. Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and Sikhism (Judaism has been omitted). The slideshow discusses how the Sikh tradition extols equality between men and women. However, the website also highlights how the ideals of equality are not practiced contemporarily. This website is objective in nature in that it provides information about both the ideals of Sikhism and the lack of presence of these ideals in the community as a whole.
