Religion, Culture and Diversity in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

This website is created and maintained by faculty and students of Memorial University in consultation with religious and cultural groups in St. John's. The site is funded by the provincial government's Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism and the Department of Education. The site presents profiles of a number of religious and cultural groups, at present mainly those who are centered in St. John's. As well, there are articles on local religious and cultural diversity, interviews with individuals from different local groups, and news items on local diversity. As the managing editors of this site, we, Dr. Patricia Dold and Dr.Jennifer Selby wish to emphasize that this site is still under construction. In the coming year, we hope to expand the site to include profiles of more groups centered in St. John's and then to expand the site to profile groups and individuals throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
