Islam : Introduction

Members of the Muslim community in St. John's discuss the role of the mosque in Islam and for the local community, the purpose of daily prayer, and the five pillars. Several people also discuss their positive experiences as Muslims in St. John's and Newfoundland and the value they find in Canadian multiculturalism and in the principle of equality of all citizen's under Canadian law.
