Hinduism : Introduction

With scenes, singing, and images from the Hindu Temple of St. John's and Middle Cove, the film introduces Hindu polytheism and the unity of all in one divine principle. Members of the St. John's Hindu community speak about the lack of a concept of sin in Hinduism, individual religious freedom in Hindu religious practice, the development of more collective practices in communities outside India, and the importance of the temple worship services for local youth as a source of knowledge about their tradition as well as for opportunities to socialize.
