Religion and Religious Extremism

This site includes the audio file and transcription of a debate on religion and religious extremism conducted as part of the International Summit on Democracy, Terrorism and Security, held in Madrid March 8-11, 2005. The purpose of the conference was "to build a common agenda on how the community of democratic nations can most effectively confront terrorism, in memory of its victims from across the world."
