Early Hinduism

This website is a brief introduction to early Hinduism with a link to a flash-player media story of creation according to early Hinduism. It is very simplistic in nature and easy to comprehend, plus fun to watch! This site also has a link where you can 'meet' the early Hindu gods/goddesses. It introduces 16 of the early gods/goddesses and includes a wonderful illustration of each of the gods and goddesses. There is also a link to an interactive game where the student can identify each of the 10 avatars of Vishnu by matching up images of the avatars and their names based upon clues given. This website, created by The British Museum, is academic in tone and appears to be objective and is aimed at providing a simple introduction to early Hinduism.
