A Guide to Little Lhasa in India

This website was created and is maintained by the Government of Tibet in exile. It offers three contributions: first, an extensive and detailed guide to Dharmasala, the official residence of the Dalai Lama. Second, this website gives a history of Dharmasala, present facts about the area, as well as information about the Dalai Lama. Third, the website also briefly discusses different aspects of Tibetan art and culture, as well as information about monasteries and other religious sites in Dharmasala. This website is written from within the religious tradition, but the goal of the website is educational.
