Aboriginal Spirituality

Native American Spirituality

This page is a general introduction to Native American Spirituality. The information is brief, but it does illustrate that not all Native Americans practice their indigenous religion and it also presents the now largely discarded beliefs of the Latter Day Saints regarding Aboriginals. The site is run by the Ontario Consultants on Religious Tolerance, a group of individuals of diverse religious backgrounds located in Kingston, Ontario, who volunteer their time because they believe in the need for greater education on religious tolerance.  They aim to present information about diverse religious beliefs in as objective a manner as possible, writing for a general North American audience. However, as they do not claim to be experts, they encourage feedback on their articles, maintain an errata page (http://www.religioustolerance.org/correct.htm), and try to update their site frequently.
