Duration and Orientation:

Three and half to four weeks in August.

* Students arrive 3 or 4 days prior to the beginning of the course in order to familiarize themselves with the area, and have three or four days at the end of classes to relax before departure.

* Visits are made to the supermarket, banks, city centre, beaches, train station, bus station and Santiago de Compostela (by train).

* Maps of the city and the shuttle bus route are distributed and explained. The relevant municipal bus routes are explained as well.

* Busses and taxis are reasonably priced and easily accessible.
